Data controller and Data Protection Officer

We act as the data user (controller) for personal data collected through this website. Our Data Protection Officer is Ahmad Razif bin Hassan, reachable at the email and phone above. The Commissioner of Personal Data Protection may be notified of the DPO appointment as required under the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024.

What we collect and why

When you submit the inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, message content, and selected engagement type. We process this data to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations for paid consulting engagements, and maintain records of commercial correspondence.

Legal bases: your consent when submitting the form, and our legitimate interests in operating a consulting business and documenting pre-contract communications, balanced against your privacy rights.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking on this site. No behavioural profiles are created from your browsing.

Notice and choice

By submitting the inquiry form, you consent to the processing described here for the stated purposes. You may withdraw consent for future marketing messages at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing necessary to respond to an inquiry you already sent.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to IT service providers who host the inquiry handler on our domain, under confidentiality obligations, and to professional advisers where required by law. Data are not transferred outside Malaysia unless you request communication tools that involve cross-border processing; we will inform you when that applies.

Security and retention

We apply access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and limited retention. Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last meaningful correspondence unless a longer period is required for tax or legal claims, then securely deleted or anonymised.

Data integrity and your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or limitation on processing of your personal data, and may request data portability for data you provided in a structured, commonly used format where the 2025 portability right applies. Contact the DPO using the details above. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.

Data breach notification

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Commissioner as soon as practicable where required under section 12B of the PDPA (Amendment) 2024, and notify affected individuals when significant harm is likely.

Inquiry form handler

Inquiries are sent via a same-domain POST handler at /api/inquiry and used only to respond to you. Technical errors are logged on the server; error text is not shown to visitors on the public site.
